Worship: We worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, utilizing different liturgical settings. Worship provides us with the opportunity to praise and worship the Triune God, as well as seek forgiveness, healing, and restoration in this same Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All worship is liturgical as far as including prayers, forgiveness and absolution, scripture reading, and the sharing of Holy Communion. We have an open table; all who believe in our Lord's presence in, with, and under the bread and wine we share are welcome to communion.
Fellowship: With yearly events like Praise in the Park, annual meeting and potluck, hymn sings and retreats, we attempt to connect people to others and to God. After weekly worship we gather for coffee and fellowship - we serve Fair Trade coffee and teas. We have a Men's group breakfast the first Saturday of the month at a local restaurant, and a Women's birthday lunch, too! (Check the Important Dates page for details.)
Community: Through our history as Covenant, we have a strong identity as a community. We share in the joys and sorrows of life with support, love, and caring and we do it TOGETHER. We have also built a prayer garden open to the whole community for quiet contemplation and prayer, available for use any time you need a moment to get away.
Service: Once a month, sewers gather in the morning before the birthday lunch to make cloth diapers. Old T-shirts are given a new life, and through our partners, shipped to places in disaster recovery. We have also recently installed a "Giving Box", a free pantry for the people of Wheatland and travelers through who need help with an extra meal. The giving box is located at the front of our driveway for easy and safe access at any time.
